"Board them!" you yell to your crew.
Your crew battles the pirates fiercely and the fight is a short one.
Your first mate, Andrew, with two other crewmen come to you dragging a struggling pirate captive. You recognize their prisoner as none other than Cutup, one of Tilghman's most bloodthirsty henchmen.
"Look what we got here, Captain," Andrew yells up to the battle deck where you're standing. "He says the fire was a trap to lure us in. He figured we'd give up without a fight. Looks like the rest of the pirate scum have hidden in the island forest. Cutup says that Tilghman sailed to Tortuga with their sloop to get provisions. He's expected back in a day or two, so we shouldn't tarry long here."
"What luck," you think to yourself.
"Excellent job, Andrew," you shout back. Round up the rest of this rabble and make ready to leave as soon as possible."
Tilghman's ship, still anchored in the cove, is an unexpected bonus. Seaworthy and faster than even Windspeeder, you order your men to transfer the cargo to it. They work rapidly and feverishly but in only a few hours the job is done and in one hour more your ships leave the island headed for Dunnbar.
