Sean: Hi, this is Sean reporting from the rain forest. I am here today to meet with some insects and ask them questions. Our first guest today will be a walking stick bug named Connery.

Sean: So ,Connery, how is life in the rain forest?

Connery: Well Sean it is kind of hard because we walking sticks are unlike any most other bug. We have no wings. We also can be brown or green, but that helps us to protect ourselves from predators.

Sean: So are you a bug that stays with your kids or are you the kind of bug that leaves your kids to fend for their selves.

Connery: Not that were bad parents or anything but the female usually drops her eggs on the ground. The young are neglected and few survive but that's our way of life.

Sean: So how big do you really grow up to be?

Connery: The common walking stick of the Eastern states has long legs and a slender body that is two to three inches long as a grown up insect.

Sean: What do you normally eat in a day?

Connery: In a normal day I eat leaves and sometimes it can harm trees.

Sean: What is the average population of the walking sticks in the rain forest?

Connery: Well, sean no one really knows because there are so many of us.

Sean: What are some unique characteristics about you which make it important to join the species habitat project?

Connery: I have spikes on the end of my tail which protect me.

Sean: Where can the you be found in the rain forest?

Connery: I can be found on trees and logs mostly.

Sean: Do you have any friends other than walking sticks?

Connery: I basically do not have any friends that are not walking sticks.

Sean: What is your scientific classification?

Connery: Well, sean I don't have a scientific classification that I know about.

Sean: Well, that's all. Thanks.
