A Dangerous Gamble

You decide to split up the crew and tow Windspeeder. But the wind has died down a bit and towing the giant ship is slow going. Your two smaller ships, Lightwind and Wavedodger do their best tugging and heaving the heavier Windspeeder, but you're not putting the distance you want between your fleet and the strange island.

From high above in the rigging you hear a cry from the crow's nest, "Sail Ho! Off the port bow!"

You pray it's a friendly ship as you bring your spyglass to your eye. Perhaps they can offer help with the towing. At least it will make the pirates less likely to attack a larger fleet.

"What do you make of her," you yell back up to the lookout.

"Can't tell yet, Cap'n, she's still a bit too far out. But I don't like the looks of 'er. She's acomin' from the direction of that island we just left."

"Troubling indeed," you think.

Should you investigate or, perhaps, continue to sail on?
