Garbage shuttleStoring waste until a shuttle can take it down to earth may not sound exciting, but it's the best way to dispose of it. Dumping waste into space can turn a bag of waste into a frozen rock—a dangerous threat to other spacecraft. And scientists are still studying how to cook waste to produce combustable gases for propulsion. So today, a garbage shuttle is the best solution.

Weightlessness makes some things more difficult (like going to the bathroom), but it makes other things—like moving across a room or lifting heavy things—almost effortless. Too much time in space can weaken your bones and muscles. You'll need to exercise regularly. What's a good form of exercise in space?
