John Says:
" You can get hurt if you play on equipment that is not made for you. Some equipment is made for children that are ages 2-5 and some for ages 5-12. If smaller children play on the older equipment, they can get hurt. Older children should not play on equipment that is made for 2-5 year olds".

Things to Remember!

Different equipment is made for children of different ages.

Preschoolers (2-5 year olds) should play on equipment that is 6 feet and under.

School-age children (5-12 year olds) should play on equipment that is 8 feet and under.

It is important to know that not all playground equipment is made for every child. Children ages 2-5 should play on equipment that meets their developmental needs. Children ages 5-12 should play on equipment that meets their developmental needs.
