Rainforest Slideshow!
Another endangered animal is the jaguar. Jaguars hunt for food along the forest floor in South and Central America. Jaguars are the third largest cat in the world after the lion and the tiger.
Jaguars are in danger of becoming extinct for the same reasons as the mountain gorilla -- they are losing their home as the rainforest gets destroyed, and they are being illegally hunted for their fur.
