A Primer On Okinawa Getting There

The leaders of the G8 nations will meet in Okinawa, Japan's southernmost prefecture, for three days from July 21 to 23. You, too, can get there through cyberspace and learn a lot about Japan along the way by taking the following quiz. You can catch a glimpse of Mount Fuji, the symbol of Japan; travel to Kyushu, the land of volcanoes, where the foreign and finance ministers will be meeting; zoom in on Okinawa, with its sparkling emerald-green sea; and meet a lot of friendly people ready to welcome you. So, if you're ready, let's take a journey to Okinawa!

Before you start, choose an airport from the list below where you'll be arriving in Japan. Whichever you choose, though, your final destination will be Busena Beach in the city of Nago, the site of the G8 Summit.

1. New Tokyo International Airport at Narita (Honshu route)
2. Tokyo International Airport at Haneda (Kyushu sightseeing route)
3. Kansai International Airport (Okinawa sightseeing route)
