39) Most primates live in forests, and are able to produce some calls that carry long distances, such as hooting by this chimpanzee. Softer sounds are used when group members are near each other. Humans use sound to communicate when they talk.Adult male chimpanzee stands bipedally and hoots.

If you dare -- ask your students to imitate a chimp hooting. Many will know this call which gets faster and louder as it continues.
