In the cities there used to be lots of trolley buses. They ran on rails down the middle of wide roads, and they did not use petrol. Long arms ran up from the roof to overhead tram lines with electricity, and this made them go. If the arms came off the lines, the tram or trolleybus would stop. Auckland used to have lots of trams. |
