Just think. Two hundred years ago, you would never have dreamed of flying. You would never have even seen a hot air balloon (unless you lived near Paris!) A hundred years ago, you would never have seen a plane. Fifty years ago, you would have laughed if you had been told man could fly to the moon. So what might happen in the future?

Wouldn't it be good if you could clip on your jet pack, and grab your school bag, and fly to school? That would be pretty amazing, wouldn't it?

Actually, there are jet packs around now, and you can actually do that. So you'll have to think harder. What do you think air travel will be like in another fifty years time, when you are as old as your grandparents are today?
