The route of the relay

The flame, in covered lanterns, travelled by plane from Greece to Guam, which was the first stop in Oceania.

At each stop, there is a ceremony as it is brought from the plane, the first torch is lit, and runners carry it around the roads. At the end of the time in that country, the lanterns are put back on to a plane, which then flies on to the next stop.

Most places in Oceania will have the flame for one day, but New Zealand will have it for three days, and Australia for a hundred days.
