Temperature Conversion

When we talk about temperature, we usually talk in terms of Fahrenheit (F). Temperature can be expressed in two other units of measurement: Kelvin (K) and Celsius (C). All three correct ways of noting temperatures. All three can be derived from one another through formulas because they are related to each other.

32*F = 0*C (freezing point for water)
212*F = 100*C (boiling point for water)

Just as scientists prefer using the metric system for measuring lengths and distances, they prefer using Kelvin for temperature data. These units of measurement are used because they are the more precise than other systems.
