Home The Sun
The Sun is a large ball of
gas which gives us heat and light.
It is our nearest
star.
Our Sun is made up of
different layers one inside the other. The centre of the sun is
called the core it is
where the energy is
produced. We know it makes energy we can feel the heat from it on a
sunny day.
The suns energy travels out
from the core giving off light. It takes millions of years for this
light to get to the outside of the sun. When it gets to the outside
the gases look like they are bubbling.
You should not look at the
sun with your naked bare eyes there are special telescopes to look at it with.
