Great idea! Plants naturally convert carbon dioxide into oxygen. While we inhale oxygen and exhale carbon dioxide, trees and plants "inhale" carbon dioxide and produce oxygen.
That's why great forests like the Amazon rainforest are called the "Lungs of the Planet." Plants can be the lungs of your space station as well.
But how many plants do you need to recycle enough oxygen for each astronaut?
