You need: food, power, toilet
Instrument panel

2.5 quarts of water

Great choice! Two quarts is more than you probably drink during the day, but weightlessness makes astronauts dehydrated. So they need to drink more water than usual.

What's next? You'll need to eat&emdash;nobody wants to go hungry in space! But how much food do you need each day?

Meal requirements:
1000 calories
50 grams of protein
120 grams of carbohydrates
30 grams of fat

An adult astronaut needs about 3000 calories each day. That's more than needed on earth, but astronauts work hard in space! What's the best menu to provide those calories?

Check the meal requirements, then select the best foods to get all the necessary nutrition! You can use the built-in calculator at the bottom of the list to help you compute each requirement.

Do your totals add up to 1000 calories, 50 grams of protein and 120 grams of carbohydrates (roughly)?

If they do, move on to the next stage.
