GO BACK
What is going to happen to me?

First of all, your parents fill in the form giving permission, and you bring it back to school. Your parents do this because they love you, and they want to keep you safe. They don't want terrible things to happen to you.

Then, some time later, you will have the vaccination. This is a little tiny injection into the top of your arm. A group of nurses will come into the school to do this - it won't be the teachers!

It might sting a bit, so some people like to look away, and talk to someone else while it is happening. Then you don't notice so much.

After your injection, you will be allowed to sit down and watch a video for a little while - so you will enjoy that part!

You actually need three vaccinations to keep you safe, but they are a long way apart - about six weeks. So you can forget about it until the next time.
