Listening with empathy and understanding

Listening with understanding and empathy means that when you have eye contact, you give feedback, most times you're at the person's level, facing the person and you don't fidget.

What does it look like?

When you listen with empathy and understanding you are giving eye contact and you don't fidget at all. You also come down to the persons level. You are also listening carefully and trying to feel their feelings and emotions. One thing you most definitely do is you give feedback.

What does it feel like?

It feels good to know that someone is listening and feeling your feelings and emotions. It feels good to know that someone understands what and why you are talking about the subject.
