Elevators
Go Back

Elevators are small flaps in a plane's wings that make the plane go up and down.

If you want your plane to fly higher or longer, add up elevators.

If your plane is flying too high and then diving to the ground, like it's on a rollercoaster, then it needs down elevators.

You make the elevators at the back of the wing, fairly close in to the body:

UP ELEVATORS

Bend part of the back edge of the wing upwards with your thumb.

DOWN ELEVATORS

Bend part of the back edge of the wing downwards with your thumb.
