First of all, Miss Baillie had to decide where she wanted to go. She had always wanted to travel to Europe. There are many different countries in Europe. The ones she really wanted to go to were England, France, Netherlands, Spain, Germany, Italy and Switzerland. She looked carefully at some world maps, and saw that they were all very close together.
