Dinosaur Artist |
---> HOME |
Scientists work closely with artists when they want to show what a dinosaur looked like. The artist has to know a lot about the bones, and how the animal would have moved. Often there is no skin, so they have to discuss with the palaeontologists what the skin might have been like.
One well-known dinosaur artist, who
painted a lot of the dinosaurs used in the Dino Store
website, is Joe Tucciarone. He paints these dinosaurs on boards,
using acrylic paint.
We wrote to him to ask if he would let us use his pictures on our
intranet, and he said yes. If you would like to write to him, and
tell him what you think of his art work, you can send him an email at
INTERSTELL@aol.com.
