City Kid or Country Kid Which would you rather be?

A kid in the city!   I like living in the city because I like the traffic. I like it because it is close to fun entertainment places. It's fun living in the city because it is close to shops. I also like living in the city because at school there are lots of children and it's easier making friends. I like it because I can get to supermarkets quickly. I don't have to buy much shopping in one go because the supermarkets are close by to where I live. The games I can play at school are much better. They're better because there are more children to think about a game to play. I like the games my friends play because they choose the sort of games I like to play as well. I like the city because it has cool jobs. I also think the city is where I belong.   By Katya

In the country   I like to live in the country because it has lots of space. And you can play games like chase the sheep and tiggy with your brothers and sisters. Then you can play with your dogs. You can teach your dogs tricks and play ball with them. Then you can fly a dragon kite and ride a horse.Also you can feed the sheep.   By Theo

I like to live in Papatoetoe I like to live in Papatoetoe because there are things I like to see. There are fun things like the Warehouse. In the weekend my family and I enjoy going to Westfield. Sometimes we go and buy some food and have a picnic. My favourite park is Allenby Park. We always go there. Sometime we always see the boys who work at Rainbows End. At Rainbows End there is a big boat that swings. On the roller coaster it is really scary. It is really scary when it goes up and down. The Fear Fall goes up and down fast. At the Warehouse there are lots of things you can buy. I like the stationery the most. There are a lot of books there. At the 1,2,3 dollar shop things only cost 1, 2 or 3 dollars.   By Iulia.
