Students in Nakatsue enjoy a Cameroon-style Lunch. |
We would like to tell you about the Cameroonian school lunch that we ate.
It was the first time I had ever eaten a Cameroon-style lunch. It was very tasty. I especially
liked mbongo (vegetable stew), alloco (bananas
fried in tempura-style batter), and a pine-chocolate dessert with tapioca in it. It was hard to concentrate
on eating because there were people from TV filming us, so next time I hope I can take my time enjoying
Cameroonian food. I really want to eat those dishes again!
The Cameroon-style lunch had a different taste to anything I've ever eaten. I liked mbongo,
alloco, and the pine-chocolate dessert with tapioca in it. Mbongo
and the dessert, with rice-flour dumplings instead of tapioca, were especially delicious. I want to eat
them again!
