Daily Life
Take a look at how kids spend their time when not under the limelight.
The families and daily lives of three kid actors are introduced here. They talk about their interests outside of kabuki, and what their personal goals are.
Besides kabuki, Tsutomu says he likes playing baseball, performing on the Chichibu daiko (Japanese-style drums), and fishing. He took up baseball soon after entering elementary school and now plays first base and bats fifth on his middle school team.

He's large for his age, being 162 centimeters (5 feet 4 inches) tall and weighing 75 kilograms (165 pounds), and says his favorite dishes are "fried chicken my mom makes. I usually gobble up five bowls of rice after a baseball game. I also go fishing quite a lot with my father, and so I like fish, too!" His father, who helped Tsutomu rehearse for the big stage, broke out into a broad grin after the performance, saying, "He did well today."
