Hirotsugu's life as a ceramist will begin in earnest when he starts his apprenticeship at another pottery.
Hirotsugu says, "I want to visit other countries, like China. I want to go to countries that are
famous for ceramics and see the works they have there."

Exposing himself to things of superior quality is very important for Hirotsugu as he starts out his career, points out his father. There are many things from which Hirotsugu can learn as an aspiring ceramist. Some of Hirotsugu's works are now displayed in a small corner of the gallery at Shinzan Kama. The day may not be far when father and son work together to create collaborative pieces!
