When Sending a Picture Drawn on Paper that Has Been Scanned
  1. Draw a picture using crayons, magic markers, etc.

  2. Scan the picture using a color scanner.
    Please scan the picture in color. Save the picture as PICT, GIF or JPEG file. Make sure the file is no bigger than 50 k.

If you're e-mailing the file:
  1. Complete a submission sheet.
    Please type in the following information on each piece of mail you send us:
    • File name:
    • Your name:
    • Your age:
    • Your e-mail address:
    • City and country:
    • Title of your painting/comments:
    • Your mailing address (to get postcard):

  2. E-mail us your picture.
    Send us your picture as an attachment. Please select the BinHex option if your mailer offers it. Send your mail to gallery@jcic.or.jp. Please send only one picture with each piece of e-mail.
    For those using Windows, please use BinHex, if your mailer offers it, instead of MIME or Uuencode.

  3. You're done!
    You've now completed a submission to the Japan Kids Gallery. If you're having trouble, don't hesitate to ask us for help. Send your questions to gallery@jcic.or.jp
If you're mailing the file on a disk
  1. Copy your file on a floppy disk.

  2. Complete a submission sheet.
    Please include the following information on a piece of paper and send it along with the disk:
    • File name:
    • Your name:
    • Your age:
    • Your e-mail address (if you have one):
    • City and country:
    • Title of your painting/comments:
    • Your mailing address (to get postcard):

  3. Mail us your picture and submission sheet.
    Please air mail (surface mail can take two to three months to arrive) to:
